“Where Was Lewis Hamilton When”: From Jesus Christ to Thanos, Conspiracies Go Wild as Bizarre Hashtag Breaks the Internet

Formula 1 had to take a tough decision to cancel the Imola Grand Prix when the Emilia-Romagna region was devastated by a flood. Since then, many of the drivers have taken to the internet to send their thoughts and prayers for all the people who were affected by this major calamity. Alpha Tauri driver Yuki Tsunoda took it one step further and took matters into his own hands and helped out with the cleaning in Faenza. But it seems Lewis Hamilton was missing.

Amidst all of this, Hamilton was spotted at the launch party of Hailey Bieber’s skincare brand Rhode right after the cancellation announcement came from Formula 1. This led to fans mocking Hamilton, and they pointed out that he did not help the people in Imola, but Yuki Tsunoda did.

Following this, Lewis Hamilton fans have come out in numbers to defend their man. They claimed that not everything is the responsibility of the British driver. Lewis was not even present in Italy at the time.

They also pointed out that several other drivers and F1 pundits were present in the country but did not choose to help in any way, but nothing is being made of their inactions. The fans decided to revive the funny hashtag ‘#wherewaslewishamiltonwhen’ and went crazy with it.

Lewis Hamilton fans rally for their driver with humorous take

The hashtag was soon on the trending page of the social media site. The magnanimous number of posts using it were all comedy at its peak. Mocking the problem, Hamilton fans did a wonderful job of accusing their driver of not being present for every historic event; or even the unimportant ones.

Twitter user barn questioned about what Lewis Hamilton did when the city of Constantinople was captured by the Ottoman army in 1453.

Another user, afrodite, recalled the assassination of Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand that set off the First World War in 1914.

Twitter user DJB reminded everyone how Lewis Hamilton had not done anything when God had decided to flood the earth for 40 days as mentioned in Genesis, the first book of The Holy Bible

Another Hamilton fan, dougie, recalled how Judas betrayed Jesus during the last supper.

Some other fans spoke about more recent incidents

Some other fans like Lisa took a more pop culture approach to the meme hashtag. She mentioned the 2009 VMA incident when Kanye West snatched Taylor Swift’s ‘Video of The Year’ award and claimed that she did not deserve to win it.

RedLuca brought up the Avengers movie series where Thanos had snapped half the world out of existence.

A Mclaren fan, Jengo, also came to the defense of Lewis Hamilton as he hilariously mentioned that Hamilton had not helped out when the ship Ever Given had blocked the Suez Canal in 2021.
