F1 Twitter Reacts to Lewis Hamilton Dancing Away at Coachella Music Festival

F1 drivers are in the middle of an unusually long break in between races currently, and they are all enjoying it differently. Lewis Hamilton, for instance, attended the Coachella Music Festival to blow off some steam before he returns to Brackley and starts preparing for the next F1 round in Baku.

Being one of the most recognizable athletes in the world, people were bound to notice Hamilton at Coachella. A video of him dancing in the crowd became viral on social media, and fans were pleased to see the seven-time world champion enjoying himself.

A fan pointed out that Hamilton looked funny when he was dancing, away from the cameras and being himself. Considering how difficult the last year and a half has been for Hamilton, fans felt that it was truly nice to see him enjoying something that isn’t related to Formula 1.

A difficult start to 2023 for Lewis Hamilton?

Back in Formula 1, Hamilton isn’t enjoying a great start to the season. After an underwhelming sixth-place finish in the championship standings last season, he was expecting the W14 to bring him back to winning ways in 2023, but so far, things haven’t gone his way.

Mercedes showed some signs of progress in Melbourne two weeks ago, where Hamilton earned his first podium finish of the season. However, overall, they are still miles off the pace compared to Red Bull. For a driver like Hamilton, who is desperate to win his eighth world title, settling for podium places behind the Red Bull drivers isn’t an ideal scenario.

Will Hamilton remain at Mercedes?

Hamilton’s contract with Mercedes expires at the end of the 2023 season, and a renewal has still not been announced. Most people expect him to continue at the team with whom he won six world titles, but considering the fact that he wants a winning car, he may have to look elsewhere.

Unfortunately for Hamilton, the only guaranteed race winning team in the sport currently is Red Bull, who have their future sorted. There have been rumors linking Hamilton to a potential dream Ferrari move, but as of now, that move too seems unlikely.
