Fan holds placard to express love for MS Dhoni, ICC reacts

MS Dhoni’s fandom is at an all time high as fans fear that the great man could hang up his boots at any time.

CSK’s return to the IPL after 2 years and the fact that MS Dhoni has been leading them very ably in the first 4 games has brought forth this new wave of fanaticism amongst the fans.

CSK have had their home games shifted out of Chennai, but thanks to the CSK team management a dedicated train was booked to help CSK fans travel to Chennai for the rest of the season.

In CSK’s game against RR, a fan was caught on camera with a placard that read “Sorry future partner, But MS Dhoni will always be my first love! I love you Mahi!”

Dhoni is enjoying his recent renaissance in world cricket, guiding Virat Kohli with leadership duties and helping youngsters find their feet in the International circuit.

Also, Dhoni is cherishing his return to captaincy as he was retained by CSK this year and given the opportunity to be at the helm of affairs of a team once again.

CSK have lost just one game this season and have had an almost perfect start with different players standing up during different games to get CSK over the line.

A few injury hiccups did haunt CSK in the initial part of their campaign, as Jadhav was ruled out after the first game, followed by an injury to Raina and Dhoni.

The duo of Raina and Dhoni has come back strongly and are here to stay, much to the delight of the CSK fans.
