Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi friendship are one of the closest, as both, the players go really well along with each other and have shared a fierce partnership with each other.

There is no doubt that Messi helped Suarez to settle down at Barcelona after his tough start to his stint at Barcelona because of the ban he received while playing the FIFA World Cup 2014.

Since then the duo has never looked back and kept on making history, especially after Neymar left Barcelona, which impacted the efficiency of Barcelona’s frontline for a while.

Five years later, Luis Suarez has become the fourth-highest scorer in Barcelona’s history. Looking back to his time with Messi, the Uruguayan International talked about his friendship with him in an exclusive interview.

“Messi has helped me a lot in my personal growth. We had an affinity from the beginning. From coexistence came friendship, and the moments I spent with him also helped on the pitch.”

“Everyone knows that he is the best in the world. He has proven it and continues to prove it day after day. He has shown me his companionship a thousand times. He helped me when I was fighting for the Golden Boot as I was too. The other day, at Eibar, he gave me a goal.”
