Marouane Fellaini saved Manchester United fans at Old Trafford a disastrous journey back home as the midfielder scored the winner in injury-time to put United through to the round-of-16 of the Champions League.
Manchester United’s performance had been frustrating throughout the evening, as they came close on various occasions but failed to convert their chances. David De Gea made a remarkable save to keep United in the game, and it was Fellaini in the end to give United a win at Old Trafford.
With this win, Manchester United secured a round-of-16 spot as Juventus beat Valencia in the other group game at Turin.
The side will play their final group game against Valencia.

Marouane Fellaini scored the winner for Manchester United in the 91st minute of the game. Romelu Lukaku lay off a cheeky header for Fellaini, and the Belgian midfielder controlled the ball well and converted the chance before being overpowered by the Young Boys’ defenders.
