FIFA 20 predicts Ballon d’Or winners from 2019 to 2033

FIFA 20 predicts Ballon d’Or winners from 2019 to 2033. Some of the names on the list are quite surprising, others, not so much.

The Ballon d’Or is considered one of the most prestigious individual awards in football. Established in 1956, the award aims to reward the best footballer in a particular season. The award was shared by Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi for a decade before Luka Modric ended their dominance last season.

This season though, there seems to be no outright contender for the award. Virgil Van Dijk, who had a phenomenal season with Liverpool last season, won the UEFA player of the year award. Lionel Messi then surprised the world by bagging The Best FIFA Men’s Player award in September.

Just when you thought that the Ballon d’Or would be a 2 horse race, reports from Italy have now suggested that Cristiano Ronaldo is leading the race for the illustrious prize. However, considering his form in comparison to Van Dijk and Messi last season, Ronaldo winning seems highly unlikely.

However, that hasn’t made it any easier for the fans or pundits, who have been trying to guess who will win the 2019 Ballon d’Or almost every single day. YouTuber TheMasterBucks though, has taken it upon himself to make our lives easier.

By using FIFA 20, and simulating the game until 2033, he has attempted to discover who the next 15 Ballon d’Or winners are. You can watch the video here:
