Arsenal are ready to bid for the 23-year-old midfielder Florian Grillitsch, who is also eyed by another London club Tottenham Hotspur, according to the reliant German publication Bild. It looks like Unai Emery’s active search for the replacement of Aaron Ramsey is on well on the cards with the potential signing of the Austrian International in the summer transfer window. But, the Gunners need to shrug off Mauricio Pochettino who is willing to battle for the Hoffenheim midfielder.
Signing from Werder Bremen in 2017, the Arsenal target has established himself an integral cog in the middle of the park for Julien Nagelsmann. With the ability to play anywhere in the midfield, Grillitsch has attracted interest from several other clubs across Europe with Arsenal being one of them.
Despite losing the game, he put in a significant performance against the reigning Premier League Champions Manchester City in the Champions League group stages. He was eye-catching throughout the game and the German outfit were unlucky to draw the game after letting go so many great opportunities.

The Austrian International has started all his league games and has made appeared 6 times for the German outfit this season. He scored his only goal in what turned out to be a crucial draw against Shakhtar Donetsk in a 2-2 draw away from home.
Standing tall at 1.87 meters, Grilltisch is a player who likes to tick the ball from the defense to the forward with his excellent passing tendency and has the ability to potent a serious threat from the set pieces. He is not too soft or slow, but he has an excellent capability to tackle the ball as clean as a whistle.
Aaron Ramsey is an offensive-minded player, but signing Florian Grillisch would make perfect sense as he would provide the perfect balance in terms of attack and defense. With the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Mesut Ozil, and Alex Iwobi in the disposal, the Spaniard manager is focused on strengthening the backline and the midfield which has struggled at times this season.
Unai Emery is turning to Granit Xhaka, Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi, and Aaron Ramsey for the midfield department this season. The Gunner manager will be looking to add even more quality as well as quantity to escape from buckling under pressure as the battle for the top four spots intensifies.
On the other hand, Mauricio Pochettino is looking to offload Victor Wanyama and Moussa Dembele as the Argentine is in need of revamping his midfield. It would be interesting to see who would land the Austrian International from the Bundesliga.
It is safer to say that Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United are fighting to finish inside the top four this season. With every other competitor strengthening, Emery would be looking to add even more firepower to his roster.
The Gunners will be traveling to the south coast to take on Southampton on Sunday.
