Former Arsenal youth footballer admits sex offence with 14-year old girl. The 22-year old has been warned he could be sent to jail.
Tyrell Robinson, a former Arsenal youth footballer has pleaded guilty to engaging in sexual activity with a child back in August 2018. He also admitted making an indecent image of the child and distributing. He however, denied a charge of distributing an indecent photograph of a child back in 2017 and the charge will now not be pursued by prosecution.
Robinson was bailed and will be sentenced at a later date.
Judge Jonathan Rose told him: “You must not assume that the fact that I’m adjourning sentence and granting you bail is to mean that any particular sentence will be imposed upon you.
“All options will be open to the judge who deals with your case, and that will very much include the possibility of a prison sentence.”
He was ordered to sign the sex offenders register before he left court.
The 22-year-old played for League Two side Bradford City before being sacked by the club over the accusations in February this year.
