Mason Greenwood was wearing a PSG logo on his shirt during Manchester United’s round-of-16 clash in the Champions League.

Manchester United registered an emphatic turnaround to defeat PSG 3-1 at the Parc des Princes.

Romelu Lukaku scored a brace, while Marcus Rashford struck the winner with a brilliantly-taken penalty to seal a place in the quarterfinal.

The victory was significant for caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as the side came to PSG with an injury list of 10 first-team players. This included all the first-choice midfielders, as well as in-form attackers Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard.

Solskjaer was resorted to playing academy graduates, but they didn’t disappoint the Norwegian as newcomers Mason Greenwood and Tahith Chong put out an extraordinary display to secure a place in the next round.

However, fans noticed something uncanny in Greenwood’s jersey as he came on as a substitute late in the second half.

Mason Greenwood’s inclusion in the Manchester United squad for the game against PSG was highly unexpected.

Such was the unpredictability of his chances to take the field, that the 17-year-old had to borrow the shirt numbers and lettering from PSG’s official club shop!

This is why Greenwood’s shirt number also resembles the fonts of PSG’s jersey.

Mason Greenwood is one of the big things coming from the Manchester United academy in recent years. He is well known among the fans of the club for his exploits in the youth team.

Under Solskjaer, Greenwood finally made his dream debut in the Champions League as Manchester United secured a dreamy comeback against PSG.

However, the youngster would certainly expect to have his own shirt number the next time he takes the field!
