Twitter is divided as Forspoken releases. The game is praised for traversal and combat, while the dialogue is another story.
Forspoken was one of the games we were excited about this year. It showed quite an intriguing combat system and had the potential to build a great world with Athia. However, Twitter was the first platform to pick it apart piece by piece. Firstly, it received criticism due to the game requiring an advanced rig. The others criticized it for the dialogue, price, lack of review codes, and more. This article will ONLY look at tweets about the game and its first impressions.
Forspoken is Criticised as Twitter Reacts to the Gameplay and Calls the Dialogue “Cringe”
The dialogue in Forspoken is just awful and cringe 😭😭😭 pic.twitter.com/j2OgvYTWh1

It’s a young woman getting transported into the world of Magic, so we expected the dialogue to be along those lines. Forspoken has lots of gameplay dialogue as well. However, there is an option to keep the banter low in settings like High On Life. The definition of cringe is subjective so, it depends from person to person.
I am not sure why there is so much hate surrounding #Forspoken, I felt the combat & gameplay was fun and fluid. pic.twitter.com/1oIaNeOkha

Some people liked the combat and the mechanics of the traversal system, which is one of the game’s upsides. It is fun to run around using magic as Frey Holland, no doubt about it.
Does anyone have review copies of Forspoken lmao? pic.twitter.com/txJ7PdF3OK

Most blogs and content creators did not get review copies of the game, which is why there is fan outrage. Review codes are an essential part of the marketing process of the video game since it promotes free speech about the game and promotes the title while at it.

Some people compared the current version to the original gameplay, and there is a noticeable difference. We are also wondering what happened in the development process.
Forspoken? More like…
PleaseStopSpeaking. Good lord this dialogue is ass https://t.co/AC7vATlXRq

The star of the show. The dialogue debate. Most people think the dialogue is unbearable, while some defend it, saying that most pop culture-relevant Marvel movies use the same dialogue. What side is right? We leave that up to you to decide.
I was in the “maybe Forspoken will turn out okay” camp but each new thing feels like it’s a different DEFCON level of red flags pic.twitter.com/FPFMlKDBdL

The last debate is the hardware debate. The game demands quite a lot to even run in the bare minimum of requirements. This spells doom for people who possess slightly lower PC specs. For more updates on Forspoken and other games, stay tuned at The SportsRush!
