Forspoken was poorly received, to say the least. Redfall which was released quite recently also got the same treatment that Forspoken got when it came out. However, it seems that the latest DLC for it will, hopefully, be quite the opposite of what the original game was. Today we will be breaking down the newest DLC in addition to discussing what it could offer the people who purchased the game.
Forspoken DLC Is Called ‘In Tanta We Trust’ and it Looks Good!
You can check out the gameplay for the DLC by clicking on the link given in the tweet or down below. The DLC will be about our resident protagonist Frey Holland supposedly going to the past. The DLC begins after the end of the game. After saving Athia, Frey looks for a way to get rid of the effects of the Break. She will be assisted by the Tanta Cinta, whose magical abilities we will use in this DLC. The Tanta are sorceresses who rule Athia with their power.
The description of the trailer reads, ” Amid her search, she follows a mysterious voice that leads her into the past. When she emerges, Frey finds herself surrounded by chaos and destruction. Injured and draped in blood-soaked clothing, she discovers a grim truth about her fate. The recently thriving Athia is at war, but why and with whom? Accompanied by Tanta Cinta, and a new set of magic, Frey must uncover the answers and save Athia once more – and attempt to save herself.”
Forspoken DLC Release Date
The DLC is set to release on May 26th. Further details about the gameplay and other story elements are unknown. However, we might get some news about it in the coming weeks. The May 26th timeline is a good time to release it since there are rumors of a PlayStation Showcase happening. Using that event to promote the game seems like the best option for Sony currently.
