“Brother, 61,000 upvotes, what the f**k” : xQc reacts to becoming a viral meme after Lakers vs Grizzlies match

After watching the Lakers destroy Grizzlies on Tuesday, xQc found himself becoming a viral meme. The Twitch streamer attended the match with Buddha and both of them sat on the courtside seats when someone clicked a photo of him that went viral.

The photo quickly made it to Reddit and audiences wondered why the streamer was sitting in an odd manner. During his live stream it was brought to his attention that the post had over 61,000 upvotes.

xQc becomes a meme after attending Lakers and Grizzlies match

During the live stream, xQc was made aware of the meme. The same photo had also made it to the comment section of his Twitter, and the streamer was trolled there, as well.

“Wait, I saw this on Twitter. What the f**k! Wait, 61,000 upvotes! How?! Brother, 61,000 upvotes, what the f**k?! Jesus, man!”

Explaining why he sat like that, xQc exclaimed that it was a “self-soothing” technique. The former Overwatch pro explained that he didn’t realise earlier why he sat the way he did, but now he has a fair idea about it

“Brother, I didn’t know at first, why I sat in a bunch of ways. I thought something about it and they said that it’s a self-soothing thing. See right now. See the way I’m sitting right now. Look.”

X then explained that the way he was sitting there wasn’t the only way he sat to soothe himself.

“It’s called self-soothing! See that? Because it puts pressure on my legs. There is pressure there, right? Same way as this. This puts this under tension. You feel? And the guy said he told me that it’s called self-soothing behavior. You feel? So, I think that’s why.”

Twitter reacts to xQc’s peculiar sitting style

Fans who saw the photo on Twitter couldn’t believe it at first, and they also couldn’t understand why he sat that way.

“I legit dont get how he can sit like that at his age. I’m 30 and have been stretching daily for over 10 years, I can do the fucking splits and sitting like that would kill me lmfao. He truly is a goblin.”

In that match, the Lakers destroyed the Grizzlies with a scoreline of 117-111.
