EA Sports has begun the preparations for the FIFA 23 Player of the Month of April. After kicking the voting off for Serie A POTM, they have also begun the elections for the much-anticipated Premier League POTM.
On May 4, EA Sports presented a short list of the best players in the English Premier League. However, fans have a limited time to vote for the player they believe is deserving of April’s POTM.

The following eight are the nominees for April’s Premier League POTM:
- Kevin De Bruyne – Manchester City
- Diogo Jota – Liverpool
- Eberechi Eze – Crystal Palace
- Erling Haaland – Manchester City
- Alexander Isak – Newcastle United
- Dominic Solanke – A.F.C. Bournemouth
- Ollie Watkins – Aston Villa
- Callum Wilson – Newcastle United
Arsenal was comfortably leading the Premier League table until Manchester City came crawling from behind to challenge them for the lead. Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland were the key figures for the “Cityzens'” latest success. This earned them a nomination for April’s Premier League Player of the Month.
Aside from these two Manchester City stars, six other elite players found their way on this list. Newcastle United strikers Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson are two such canditates. Further, Diogo Jota also found a spot on this list for his spectacular performance for Liverpool in April. Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins, Crystal Palace’s attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze, and Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke also caught the attention of EA Sports for April’s EPL POTM.
Fans may have difficulty selecting the English Premier League Player of the Month for April from among these eight exceptional soccer players. However, participating in the vote will give fans access to a special card for their FUT squads that is higher-rated than the usual cards of these EPL players.
