Project L is a free-to-play fighting game under Riot Games’ development and is based on the League of Legends universe. The developers recently introduced Yasuo to the roster alongside other notable characters from their MOBA title.

The existence and early look at Project L have been given by Riot Games in multiple instances. Additionally, an in-game event was also added to League of Legends to hype up the fanbase about the upcoming title. While nothing has been revealed about the release date or the final name of the game, we do have some known information.

For instance, Riot Games have revealed four Champions that would be playable in the demo version at EVO 2023. To give you a full insight, we have composed this article with every known information about the upcoming fighting title.

Project L features Yasuo and other characters from their League of Legends universe

In the recent reveal video of Project L, Riot Games gave the first look at Yasuo in their fighter game. Along with him, characters like Ekko, Darius, and Ahri were also shown in the video. All these four characters will be playable at the EVO 2023 event, where fans can try out the game.

The animation style of the game mixes 3D with 2D which has been featured with their Arcane series on Netflix. Additionally, the model used for Ekko in the fighting game matches with the version shown with Arcane. It can be speculated that the title takes place in the same universe as well, however, that cannot be confirmed as Riot Games didn’t make an official announcement. Ahri and Darius have also received the unique makeover that sets them apart from the League of Legends style.

The gameplay follows the standard controls of a usual fighting game while introducing unique features to the title. For instance, the game can feature four-player multiplayer which allows for tag team gameplay. As shown, the transition between switch characters is smooth and can lead to unique plays.

The developers revealed that every character provides their own unique playstyle and features different combos. Thus, movements won’t feel repetitive and still provide for a great fighting experience free of cost. Riot Games might be revealing more about the game soon, once they gather enough feedback from these demos.

That is all we could gather about Project L which is under development by Riot Games. If you wish to get more updates on this topic, make sure to give us a follow. Alternatively, if you wish to read more similar content now, click here.
