The Shrines from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild have returned in the new Tears of the Kingdom. Here we shall learn everything there is to know about the one known as Kudanisar Shrine.
Shrines are mini-dungeons located across Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom. In these shrines, there are numerous tasks such as puzzles and occasionally opponents to fight. But fans must visit shrines to obtain the Light of Blessing, a key in-game item that enhances Link’s health and stamina capacity. Further, the shrine challenges help Link master his new Ultrahand.
The Kudanisar Shrine is one of the shrines in the new Zelda game. But the visit to this location is as simple as you think, as there are challenges they must complete. Despite the hardships, fans must go to the shrines since visiting all of them rewards Link with the legendary Ancient Hero’s Aspect armor, which grants Link a +12 defense upgrade.
Kudanisar Shrine location in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
There are 152 shrines across the land and sky of the Hyrule Kingdom, making it challenging to locate them all. However, visiting the Kudanisar Shrine in the Gerudo Desert region may be difficult for the game’s silent hero. The shrine’s precise coordinates are -4168, -2144, and 0050.
To easily reach the Kudanisar Shrine, Link should visit the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower and paraglide their way to the shrine’s entrance. Further, Link might encounter sandstorms and Soldier Constructs on their way to the shrine.
NOTE: Fans should visit Kudanisar Shrine after completing the main quest called “Riju of the Gerudo Town.” Otherwise, it would be even more challenging to reach the location.
How to complete the shrine challenge
Every shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has a side quest associated with them, as it’s the “Bridging the Sands” for the Kudanisar Shrine. This shrine challenge will test Link’s ability to travel in a sea of sand using powered sleds and planks.
To complete this shrine challenge without trouble, follow these steps:
- Run down the stairs on the plank drifting in the sand, then move on to the other plan until Link reaches the platform.
- After reaching the platform, use the Grab ability on a plank to place it against the fence ahead. It will not drift in the sand if kept by the wall there.
- Cross the fence and destroy the Soldier Construct hiding behind a plank.
- Link should then move ahead through that sand sea to a ladder to climb up.
- Link should stand on an orange square switch that will launch a ball across the shrine.
- He should turn towards the direction the ball went and paraglide down the giant staircase to two power sleds kept by a platform.
- Drive that sled to the top right area ahead, where a Construct Soldier is guarding the Treasure Chest. Defeat the enemy to get Hasty Elixir from the chest.
- Redirect the sled to face toward a big platform, where the ball went flying. Use the Ascend ability on the see-through sides of the big platform to reach the upper floor.
- Defeat the two Soldier Constructs up there and go down to where the ball is.
- Stand on the green switch to open the blocked gate and stick the ball to one of the powered sleds.
- Drive back to the platform, where Link found the first sled. Use the multiple planks there to create a bridge to connect the platform and the giant stairs ahead.
- Use the Grab ability on the ball to take it on top of the platform via the stairs and place it in the socket to unlock the entry to the sigil room.
