GER-W vs SWE-W Dream 11 prediction: Dream 11 fantasy tips for Germany vs Sweden for Women FIFA World Cup 2019

GER-W vs SWE-W Dream11 Prediction: The SportsRush brings you the Dream11 prediction between the Netherlands and Japan.

One half of the quarter finals fixtures have already taken place with England and USA booking their place in the Semis. The last of these fixtures brings to us Germany against Sweden. Germany are two time Champions of the tournament and ab absolute powerhouse in the sport. We could say Sweden on the other hand are overperforming but their squad, too, boasts of very high individual talent.

However, all said and done, Germany are the clear cut favourites in this tie and Sweden will have to do a lot to climb this Round of 8 hill.

Goalkeeper for GER-W vs SWE-W Dream11

Almuth Schult: Schult is one of the best keepers in the world and has been performing at the top level with her club, Wolfsburg for very long. She’s been instrumental in her team’s success. The 28 year old hasn’t conceded a single goal at the tournament and is my pick for this heated fixture.

Defenders for GER-W vs SWE-W Dream11

Marina Hegering: The German centre back has been absolutely immense for her team in the World Cup, keeping 4 clean sheets. She’s the heart of the defence and is like the captain without the armband commanding her team throughout the game.

Giulia Gwinn: Starting RB for Germany is my second choice in defence. She’s a very attacking fullback and has scored one goal in the tournament. Her one assist – coming against South Africa – is testament to the same.

Linda Sembrant: The Swede is my third choice. She’s extremely physical and strong which is often reflected during matches where she’s winning most aerial duels and bullying attackers. She won 75% of her duels in the RO16.

Magdalena Eriksson: Swedish Left Back Eriksson has started 3 games for her team and has been heavily involved in both attack and defence. She’s quick, versatile and has an eye for pass. Her performance against Thailand was absolutely sublime where she assisted Lina Hurtig for their 4th goal.

Midfielders for GER-W vs SWE-W Dream11

Sara Dabritz(VC): Dabritz is an attacking midfielder by trait but had also played as a CM and a wide midfielder for Germany. She’s scored 3 goals in the competition in 4 starts and has been unstoppable in all positions. She has a very good work ethic and tracks back to help out her defence on many occasions.

Lina Magull: Bayern’s central midfielder Magull has been part of all of Germany’s games but has started only 2. However, she has registered a goal and assist in her ~200 minute of play. The Swedish defence must close her down at all opportunities because she’s got a wicked shot in her, too.

Elin Rubensson: Defensive midfielder by trait, Elin can function as both, a DLP and a Box to Box midfielder. She won the man of the match against Thailand scoring and assisting one time each.

Lina Hurtig: Hurtig has started only game for Sweden but has come off the bench in the remaining three games. She has a goal to her name scoring the 4th against Sweden.

Forwards for GER-W vs SWE-W Dream11

Alexandra Popp(C): Popp is the German captain and an attacker of extremely high quality. Her finishing abilities make her the favourite to get goals against an underperforming defence. She has 2 goals in 4 starts and is my choice of Dream11 captain in this game.

Lea Schuller: Popp’s partner in attack, Schuller has started only 1 game, but has come on 2 other occasions. Starting her against Nigeria in the previous round came as a blessing as she scored the third goal for her team.
