Griezmann to Man City: Mancheter City devies weigh to beat Barcelona to sign Griezmann

Griezmann to Man City: Mancheter City devies weigh to beat Barcelona to sign Griezmann as the English giants ready to trigger his price tag.

Antoine Griezmann recently announced in a video dedicated to Atletico Madrid fans that he will leave the club at the end of the season.

This sudden announcement posed a big question about the next destination of the French International this summer.

Therefore, his sudden availability aroused the interests of several European giant clubs including Manchester City.

According to a report by the SkySports, Manchester City are willing to pay his buyout clause of £108 million, in order to gain his services from the Spanish Club.

The 28-year-old forward can further bolster Pep Guardiola’s side as he has the ability to play at various positions upfront. Additionally, he is a suitable replacement for Sergio Aguero, who is in the last phase of his career.

On the other hand, it is also reported that Barcelona are the favourites to sign Griezmann, but the French International can snub the Catalan Club again like last year, while the Blaugranas were on the verge of signing him.

Additionally, various reports suggest that Barcelona are offering €4-million less wages than his previous €21 million per year wages at Atletico Madid.

Whereas, certain interests from Liverpool are also noticed. However, no further advancements are made by the Reds for the Atletico Madrid sensation.

Therefore, considering the financial power of Manchester City, they can easily fulfill the wage demands of Griezmann, hence, it would not be surprising if the French international in the end prefers joining Pep Guardiola’s side.
