Sunil Chhetri has been tirelessly serving Indian Football for a long time, scoring goals at will and leading the Indian side to a possible place in the Asian Cup! Chhetri’s goal scoring record has been tremendous and he recently overtook Wayne Rooney to become the 4th highest international goal scorer amongst active players.

Twitter showered praise on Chhetri as he was putting India on the global football map through his stupendous scoring record. Keshav Bansal, the Gujarat Lions owner too wanted to jump on the bandwagon and wish Chhetri but he got himself in the firing line instead, as he tweeted the world ‘runs’ instead of ‘goals’

He tweeted: “Let’s take a moment to talk about @chetrisunil11, the Indian footballer who has been ranked 4th in the world for scoring the highest runs.”

It seems as if Keshav Bansal was still recovering from his IPL hangover and couldn’t really ‘change the game’ when logging into Twitter and letting his fingers run wild. But was it a honest mistake? Or is Keshav Bansal one of those who tweet about current affairs without reading much into them?

Well, whatever the answer be, Twiterrati wasn’t going to let this go, and wanted Bansal to feel a little humiliated about this ‘silly’ mistake of his.
