It is perhaps only in sports that one witnesses a funny or a comical moment even during a high-octane clash coupled with what we call it nervous energy. While the funny on ground incidents not only help the players enjoy the game amidst all the pressure, but it also gives the fans some ‘rolling on the floor laughing’ moments.
One such moment happened during the Pakistan vs Afghanistan cliffhanger of a match at Headingley on Saturday, where the Pakistan Team, yet again managed to keep their 2019 World Cup dreams alive by a whisker as they beat the gritty Afghanistan side in an absolute humdinger of a game by 3 wickets.
Afghanistan skipper Gulbadin Naib, had a torrid day at Headingley, when the fans trolled him in the worst manner possible for his ordinary display of captaincy skills coupled with his horrendous last over, wherein he had to defend six runs of the final over.

But, the signs of an unlucky day for him surfaced quite early in the second innings when a casual throw by Rashid Khan from the deep, hit him severely on his buttocks.
What exactly happened?
It all happened during the end of the 23rd over of the second innings. Rashid Khan, who was stationed at the long-on fence threw the ball casually at his skipper as the over had ended. But, a not so vigilant Gulbadin had his eyes somewhere else and the ball, to his surprise went on to hit him right on his buttocks, to visibly put him in a lot of pain.
Rashid, on the other hand, realizing that he had hit him really hard, came running towards him to apologize for the pain and the embarrassing moment in front of a jam-packed crowd.
