The evolution of Hardik Pandya from a raw talent to a quality all-rounder has been a joy to see. Pandya is a very good seam bowling option, brilliant in the field and an accomplished batsman who can hit the long ball.

He recently displayed his match winning abilities in the tenth edition of the IPL. So much so, that his Mumbai Indians coach, Ricky Ponting has gone as far as calling him a world class all-round player. Ponting believes that Pandya has the ability to become one of the best all-rounders in world cricket.
In the aforementioned interview, Pandya spoke of his wonderful time in the IPL with the Mumbai Indians. He also called the Wankhede stadium, the most special cricket ground that he has ever played on.

Pandya revealed that bowling the last over against Bangladesh in the T20 World Cup was the fondest moment in his career so far. He also said that his favorite shot is the straight drive and mentioned how he loved chatting with his friends on Whatsapp.
Pandya also mentioned that Deepika Padukone was his celebrity crush and that he preferred watching a movie rather than reading a book.
Pandya is a key element of this India side, and his displays in England will go a long way in deciding India’s fortunes in the Champions trophy.
