Harry Maguire misses absolute sitter against Newcastle United in Premier League game

Harry Maguire misses an absolute stunner against Newcastle United in the Premier League game, as Manchester United suffers against the Toons.

Ole Solskjaer is struggling to grind out results for the club, as the Red Devils are slowly falling down in the table. The lack of positive results has certainly infuriated the fans.

Manchester United’s visit to St. James Park has not improved the tense situation at the club, as the Red Devils have struggled while facing Newcastle United.

The Toons further scored a goal to win the game after Matty Longstaff scores a goal for his club to make Manchester United trail and eventually drop points.

However, things could have been different, if Harry Maguire could have rescued the club when he was clear in front of the goal, while Ashley Young delivered a corner.

The English International missed an absolute sitter against Newcastle United, as he only needed a slight placement of ball through his net to score a goal, but instead, he misplaced the ball, even though he was standing clear in front of the goal.

This was probably the best chance by Manchester United created in this game, and the English giants could not do anything, and further failed to create anything significant to even level the score.

On the other hand, Newcastle United was impressive defensively and thwarted away all the potential threats posed by Manchester United in the way. Therefore, the hosts truly deserved the three points.

Manchester United are now placed at the 12th spot with 3 defeats in the league already. Thus, things are not good for Solskjaer anymore, with ever demanding fanbase demanding his sacking.

Nevertheless, a poor day for the Red Devils at the football pitch, and considering Newcastle United was deemed to be the weakest team in the Premier League before the start of the season, Manchester United should have nailed this tie.
