Harsha Bhogle returns to the commentary box!
Harsha Bhogle returns to the commentary box for the first time in over a year. It has been a long time since we heard Harsha Bhogle’s voice in the commentary box. The good news is that he will be returning to English commentary for India’s tour of West Indies which starts on the 23rd of June.
He announced this on twitter. Even today fans wonder as to why Harsha left the commentary team and were baffled because the BCCI did not provide any reason for his departure from commentary. Harsha was part of the Hindi commentary team during the IPL . He kept his followers busy with his timely tweets which offered them his insight into the games.

However the fans would now be rejoicing as they now get to hear one of the most favourite commentators with a great understanding of the game from the 23rd of June.
Here is Harsha Bhogle’s tweet :
I go from here to the West Indies. Am looking forward to hosting cricket and doing commentary from there. Your support has meant a lot to me
— Harsha Bhogle (@bhogleharsha) June 18, 2017
It has to be noted that Harsha Bhogle is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and started commentating from the age of 19 . He played small level cricket , but is one of the few commentators with a great knowledge of the game without having played it at the international level. One interesting fact is that Harsha Bhogle was a part of the coaching staff of the Mumbai Indians during the 2008 IPL as he was their advisor.
Bhogle is arguably the most popular colour commentator in world cricket. His absence over the last year may have only increased his popularity, as Bhogle’s legion of fans religiously watch his opinionated videos on YouTube.
But he is back! And we hope the ‘Voice of India’ does not get silenced again.
