The Premier League side is set to be monitoring Rabiot’s situation
Although the summer transfer window is still some time away, one club which manages to find itself linked to players around the year is Manchester City. Its down to the club’s financial might with the team’s owners ever willing to infuse large heaps of cash into the club.
While names like Haaland have been persistently doing the rounds, a new surprise name has entered the fray of the club’s transfers plans as well. According to Adrien Rabiot’s agent, Vincenzo Morabito, the Premier League leaders are extremely interested in acquiring his client’s services.
Rabiot who is currently plying his skill set for Juventus has featured on 68 occasions for the Serie A giants ever since joining from PSG on a free. While Vincenzo claimed Pep was a long term admirer of the player he also said a potential switch would not be on the cards.
Vincenzo Makes Staggering Claim
“He is a transfer target of Manchester City, but he is not going to leave Juventus,” said Adrien Rabiot’s agent, Vincenzo Morabito during an interview with Tuttosport.
Rabiot has previously also been linked to the Premier League with Manchester United, Everton and Arsenal all said to have been interested in the player at one point of time.
While Rabiot has not been able to make his place in the club’s goal scoring ranks this term, he has managed to net once along with creating the two goals for the side. The player was most recently involved during his side’s 3-1 triumph over Lazio on Saturday.
Juventus are currently chasing a seven point deficit, one which sees them separated from top spot in the Serie A. The side has managed to claw its way back into the title challenge with two wins on the bounce, results which have seen the club revive a season which has ended for doom at one stage.
