Hetmyer tweets for RCB: West Indian middle-order batsman came up with a video after being bought in IPL 2019 auction. 

West Indies middle-order batsman Shimron Hetmyer has expressed joy after being bought by IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore for INR 4.2 crore. In which will be his maiden season in the IPL (Indian Premier League), Hetmyer is expected to solve RCB’s middle-order woes in IPL 2019.

The 21-year old cricketer, a member of ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup 2016 winning team, possesses the ability of taking on the bowlers at will. His stellar performance in the ODI series against India earlier this year gave the impression of the calibre which he holds.

After being picked by the franchise, Hetmyer took to his Twitter account to thank the franchise for showing trust in him.

Hetmyer then came up with a video, expressing his feelings to play in the Chinnaswamy Stadium next year.

Apart from Hetmyer, Bangalore also acquired the services of India all-rounder Gurkeerat Singh Mann for INR 50 lakh. Mann also took to his Twitter account to thank the franchise for bidding for him.

In which was a case of horses for courses, RCB wished back the Punjab all-rounder, addressing him as veere.
