Hitman Freelancer Mode will Release on 26th January; Details Below
We first need to know that the game’s freelancing mode was announced almost a year ago. Now, for the Year 2 content, they are adding Freelancer mode. It lets the players organize how they will carry out missions. In addition, the players get to plan what kind of approach they want to take for missions. Everything in Agent 47’s house will be customizable from the front to the back.
Explaining the game mode on their blog, IO said,” HITMAN: Freelancer adds some new types of gameplay into the normal gameplay recipe of the main game. An important example of this is what we call “strategic planning.”
Adding to the concept of how this game mode works, they said,” Players will have to build and maintain an arsenal of gear, but also decide on what to bring to missions, weigh up the pros and cons of having a limited gear capacity and the risk of losing valuable and hard to come by equipment.”

This is one of the best game mode changes in Hitman since it completely immerses us in the world of being an assassin rather than just giving us a mission to kill. We get to plan everything and see how it affects our routes; the better we plan, the easier it will be to kill. This will be a completely new experience in the Hitman franchise, never before seen and enjoyable.
