Talent and Technique

As a character of Nihility in Honkai Star Rail, Silver Wolf specializes in debuffing enemies to deal more damage. Her Talent “Awaiting System Response…” infects the enemies with a ‘Bug’ that has a chance to debuff them when she attacks them. The debuffs applied to the enemies can be of three types and are randomly applied: reducing ATK, reducing SPD, and reducing DEF. These debuffs last for three turns on the enemy. Leveling up the Traces of this Talent increases the chances of applying Bugs and also increases the percentage of debuff.

Additionally, the overworld Technique of Silver Wolf is also quite useful in combat mode. For instance, if the enemies are hit by her attack in the overworld, they are automatically dealt with a Quantum DMG equal to 80% of Silver Wolf’s ATK. All the enemies also gain a Quantum weakness for the battle useful for breaking shields quickly.

It is worth mentioning that her Skill can also induce a weakness of a Type that is present in the team but not already on the enemy. For example, if players have Quantum and Fire characters on the team and the enemy is only weak to Quantum, it will also gain weakness to Fire.

Relics and Ornaments

Relics in Honkai Star Rail, akin to Artifacts in Genshin Impact, serve to enhance the characters’ damage output. Hit Rate is a crucial stat for Silver Wolf, however, it can be made up from several sources, like Trace buffs, Light Cones, or Relic set buffs. Therefore, you can focus on more sub stats like ATK and CRIT after Hit Rate.

Some of the best sets of Relic sets that can be suitable for Silver Wolf are:

  • 4-piece Genius of Brilliant Stars: Quantum DMG + Enemy resistance shred
  • 2-piece Genius of Brilliant Stars + 2-piece Musketeer of Wild Wheat: Quantum DMG + ATK% buff
  • 4-piece Musketeer of Wild Wheat: ATK% buff + SPD boost

Moreover, once you reach Trailblaze level 24, you gain access to Planar Ornaments, which can be equipped in sets of two. The best option for Planar Ornaments for Silver Wolf is:

  • Pan-Galactic Commercial Enterprise: Hit Rate + ATK buff

Light Cones

Silver Wolf has amazing Light Cone options which include some great F2P ones:

  • Incessant Rain: BiS five-star Light Cone for Silver Wolf. Buffs Hit Rate, CRIT Rate, and increases DMG against enemies.
  • Before the Tutorial Mission Starts: F2P Light Cone available through the v1.1 event. Hit Rate + Energy Recharge
  • In the Name of the World: 5-star Light Cone with Hit Rate, ATK, and damage against debuffed enemies
  • Eyes of the Prey: Hit Rate + DoT buff

The ‘Before the Tutorial Mission Starts’ is available for free through the v1.1 event “Starhunt Game” as an event reward. However, only players with Trailblaze Level 21 and above can take part in the same.

Team recommendations

In Honkai Star Rail, teams revolve around character synergies, providing valuable assistance in battle. Considering the elemental weaknesses of different enemies is crucial when building your team. Silver Wolf performs well in dual and mono Type teams, where two of the characters are Quantum, including Silver Wolf, and two of some other Type. Here are some basic team compositions that work well with Silver Wolf:

  • Silver Wolf + Seele + Tingyun + Bailu
  • Silver Wolf + Seele + Qingque + Natasha
  • Silver Wolf + Seele + Fire Trailblazer + Asta
