How many games Salah, Messi, Ronaldo and other footballers have missed through injury
It is always horrific news for the club and the fans when the player is sidelined with an injury. There are players who have struggled to cope up with the injuries which would probably ruin their careers.
On the other hand, some players have the ability and would withstand the pain and play through the pain without further requiring further treatment.
In one extreme, players including Luis Suarez, Robert Lewandowski, Salah, Lewandowski, Ronaldo, and Sterling have missed less than 5% of games in their careers till date.
On the other hand, Gareth Bale, Marco Reus, Daniel Sturridge, etc have struggled to play through the pain barrier and have always been sidelined with injuries more often than not.

Those are all ridiculous stats for a player who had played more than eleven years of professional football at the top level. He has played through plenty of niggles, but some players would not able to withstand that.
Suarez in 13/14 was an animal, his legs were broken up and he’d be limping around the pitch and then he’d go and score a brilliant goal. Never missed a game all season, had surgery as soon as the season finished and still came back in time for the World Cup. Warrior

Daniel Sturridge was frequently getting injured and Brendan Rodgers was reliant on his services. He opened up that those injuries are due to heredity.
The English striker said to TalkSport four years back and said that he gets muscle injuries because of his heredity “I play my game as best I can, but I’ve been unfortunate this season,”
“Maybe it’s my body type, maybe it’s hereditary. Both my uncles had injuries, and my dad had them as well. Maybe it’s the Caribbean vibes, maybe I have speed but maybe it makes you more vulnerable because of the fast twitch muscles and the speed in which you’re moving.
“I am vulnerable to muscle injuries. As long as I continue to work hard everything will take care of itself.”
There are plenty of instances where players really lose their heart when they go down injured which hampers their process ultimately. Upon joining Liverpool, Daniel Sturridge looked unstoppable for a year, but with injuries playing a huge part, he lost an extra yard of pace and has always tried to play it safe rather being physical.
On the other hand, Luis Suarez and Roberto Lewandowski are fearless and have always been physical. It is always a blessing when you are not put down by injuries which is a luxury possessed by some players.
Players who are labeled as consistent will always be fit to take the opportunity.
