ICC Test Championship Point Table: England defeated West Indies last night to maintain their stellar record at the Old Trafford.

England and Ben Stokes (in particular) defeated West Indies by 113 runs to stage a comeback in the ongoing three-match Test series against West Indies in Manchester.

From declaring at the right time in the morning session of Day 5 to bundling out the opposition for 198 in 70.1 overs, England utilized their resources to the best to ensure that they stand a chance to regain the Wisden Trophy going into the third Test at the same venue.

In what is his ninth such award in this format, vice-captain Stokes was rightly awarded the ‘Man of the Match’ award for his game-changing performance with both the bat and the ball today. Apart from Stokes, the likes of opening batsman Dom Sibley (120) and veteran seamer Stuart Broad (38-12-108-6) also did well for the hosts.
