The first semi-final of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be played between India and New Zealand at Old Trafford tomorrow. While India ended the league stage as the table-toppers, New Zealand qualified majorly because of a better run rate than Pakistan.
It is the same reason why India are being considered as the favourites going into this match. Having said that, the No. 1 team in the league stage wouldn’t be taking anything for granted in Manchester tomorrow.
The league stage match between both the teams was abandoned due to rain which means that India will have an advantage if the semi-final is also washed out due to inclement weather conditions.
