And as was on expected lines, it is Narendra Modi-led Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) who have garnered the maximum love of the people of India, gifting him another 5-year tenure.

At the time of writing, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) was ahead in 343 of the 542 seats, while the BJP lead had crossed 300. For a clear majority, 272 was the mark. It was the first time in more than three decades that a single party won majority on its own.
While for the BJP supporters, there’s no ground beneath them, the Indian cricketers too joined the party and congratulated the Honorable Prime Minister, on his and his party’s 2nd successive win in the Lok Sabha Elections via their respective Twitter handles.
How did the Cricketers react?
Several Cricketers like former India opener, Virender Sehwag, off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, Mohammad Kaif poured in their heartiest wishes for the PM for his yet another innings as the supreme leader of the country. Even other cricketers like Shikhar Dhawan, Ravindra Jadeja, Suresh Raina, and even the cricketer turned commentator, Aakash Chopra also tweeted their congratulatory messages for the BJP.
Dhawan and Harbhajan even congratulated the 2011 World Cup winner cum India’s opening batsman- Gautam Gambhir, who too was contesting the elections from East Delhi for the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). At the time of writing, he was way ahead of Atishi Marlena- his competitor from East Delhi for the Indian National Congress (INC). His victory is conformed too.
