Indian fan proposes his girlfriend in the middle of the high-octane India vs Pakistan match played at The Old Trafford, Manchester on June 16

There are certain moments in peoples’ lives which they either wish to cherish for days to come, or like to forget them akin a bad dream. But, what happened during the India vs Pakistan clash at Manchester would be etched as the most memorable moment for a ‘couple’ of people for the rest of their lives for sure.

While the fans from across the border had saved their undivided attention for witnessing the ‘once in a while’ clash live from the stands, little had they hoped that they would also be witness to an equally important facet of life, other than a ‘match’ between the arch-rivals.

Girl gets the surprise of her life

While it is unclear as to which point in time during the epic clash the man proposed his girlfriend, the life savouring moment for the couple was indeed captured wonderfully perhaps by someone of the girl’s acquaintance.

The girl apparently had not expected the sweet gesture from her boyfriend, especially in the midst of scores of people watching them. Living up to the boy’s expectations, the girl accepted his proposal in front of a jam-packed stadium, to get the surprise of her life.

The girl named Anvita J, also shared the beautiful moment in her social media handles. Anvita was initially taken aback by the surprise, but quickly embraced him after his proposal.

The man, who was already prepared with the plan, went down on his feet and pulled out a beautiful ring, to go about with the customary proposal honours.

The fans around after the moment, asked the man the famous question from the movie- Uri- “How’s the Josh?”, to which the man replied- “High sir”.
