India won a fourth gold medal, courtesy Rahi Sarnobat in the women’s 25m air pistol event. Sarnobat became the first Indian woman to win a gold medal in an individual shooting event at the Asian Games.

Day 4 also show India registering their highest ever win in men’s hockey history. India thumped Hong Kong, China 26-0, with 14 different goalscorers in the match.

The women’s compound team has also reached the quarterfinal in Archery. In Wushu, India bagged four bronze medals.
