TheSportsRush brings you all of India’s results at Asian Games 2018 on Day 2 of the continental tournament.

India made an unimpressive start to the Day 2 of Asian Games 2018. In the Artistic Gymnastics event, India men’s team finished 9th. However, there was some respite in the individual event as Yogeshwar Singh qualified for repechage in the vault event.

However, India’s medal chances received a big blow when both, the men and women’s teams lost in the quarterfinal of Badminton team event. India men’s Kabaddi team also suffered a shocking loss to South Korea in their third league match of the event.

Vinesh Phogat, Deepak Kumar and Lakshay Seoran saved the day for India. The Indian star wrestler spent less than 15 minutes on the mat before beating Japanese wrestler Yuki Irie in the final. While Deepak Kumar finished second in the  10m Air Rifle event, Lakshay also bagged a silver medal in Trap event.
