india's results at asian games

TheSportsRush brings India’s results at Asian Games 2018 on day 6.

India had an impressive start to day 6 at Asian Games 2018, as the rowers bagged three medals (1 gold, 2 bronze) in different categories. Rohan Bopanna/Divij Sharan also won the gold medal in tennis’ men’s doubles. As the day passed, however, India had to endure heartbreaking losses.

Dipa Karmakar, who admittedly wasn’t completely fit before the event, finished fifth in the Balance Beam. After men’s team’s shocking defeat to Iran, the women’s team also lost the Kabaddi final to Iranian women in a closely fought match. This is the first time when India failed to win a gold medal in Kabaddi at Asian Games.
