Team India has by far kept their ‘unbeaten’ tag at home and that shows how well they go about their business.

India’s last ever ODI series drubbing at home came at the hands of Proteas in 2015 where India lost 2-3 to end the series on a sad note.

New Zealand were rock solid in the series opener. India’s rise from the ashes in the second match saw them go level on terms and set up a series deciding match at Kanpur.

Kane Williamson has instilled a winning philosophy into the team and has transformed it quite well by proving that they are serious competitors.

There is nothing much to say about Black Caps’ pressing India in India as they have never won an ODI series here.

In 2016/17 series, the series went so close that it read 2-2 before the Men in Blue came out on top to clinch the series.

Mulling over the present scenario, the series is too close just like the previous series meeting and it will be interesting to see which team gets the better of the other in the series decider.

The surface is pretty different compared to the two earlier venues and it’s all down to the players to adapt in a bid to stay strong and firm.

India’s Probable XI:

Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli (c), Dinesh Karthik, Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni (wk), Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal.

New Zealand’s Probable XI:

Martin Guptill, Colin Munro, Kane Williamson (c), Ross Taylor, Tom Latham (wk), Henry Nicholls, Colin de Grandhomme, Mitchell Santner, Tim Southee, Trent Boult, Adam Milne.
