While CSK’s death bowling troubles resurfaced in the last game, SRH had to bear the brunt of Rishabh Pant’s high quality knock. Even the best of their bowlers like Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Siddarth Kaul bowled with an economy of 12.75 runs per over and 12.00 respectively.
Weather report
The first thing that strikes for the CSK-SRH match is that it is a day game. This totally changes the dimensions of the game and brings in lot of other factors. Suddenly, chasing is not that big an advantage as it is in a night game.
The match fortunately has no chances of rain and the humidity levels will be very low. However, the players would have to face scorching heat. Especially, it would be a handful for the team fielding first.
Pitch report
The game will be played at the Maharashtra Cricket association Stadium, also known as the MCA stadium in Pune, which is the adopted home ground of the CSK. The Pune pitch is known to assist the spinners. Additionally, with the day game and the dry conditions, the ball is expected to grip in the wicket.

Both sides have able spinners who can exploit these conditions. SRH have Rashid Khan and Shakib al Hasan who are experienced campaigners in T20s. Especially, Rashid would ask some tough questions of the CSK batsmen.
CSK have the option of Harbhajan Singh, Karn Sharma and Imran Tahir. They would ideally include two out of these three spinners in their playing XI
Head to Head
In the 7 matches that the two teams have played against each other, Chennai Super Kings have won 5 while Sunrisers Hyderabad have won just 2. However, one must not forget that during the two years that SRH have been at their best, CSK was not a part of the IPL. Hyderabad are not the same old team but they have come a long way.
Both the teams have equal chances of running away with the match, but SRH have an edge due their quality bowling line up.
