Fantasy Tips for RR vs MI

Mumbai Indians have kick started their mini-resurgence in the IPL with that thumping win over RCB at Wankhede this week.

Rohit Sharma finally rose to the occasion, soaking in the pressure at 0/2 and then unleashing his hitting skills during the death overs.

Krunal Pandya and Mitch McCleneghan then ran through that RCB batting order to gift Mumbai their first win of the IPL 2018 season.

Rajasthan Royals on the other hand have had a mixed bag season, winning 2 out of their first 3 games, but losing the plot thereafter, as a lot of their team decisions have been questionable, along with the form of their major stars.

RR are struggling a little and MI seem to have suddenly found their voice, but a game at that fortress in Jaipur, could maybe tilt the balances in RR’s favour.

Let’s get to business now!

IPL Fantasy League(Fantasy Tips for RR vs MI)

Now, I already have Suryakumar Yadav in my side for this game.

Surya is certain to open the batting once again for MI and hopefully doesn’t get brushed aside by that rather ineffective RR bowling line up.

Now, when I would like to bring two players in from that MI side, as they play twice in three games.

Two of the most trusted players in that case would be Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah, however,  Evin Lewis can be that one player who could give your fantasy team a lot of impetus.

Now, do you bring them both in? I think you should, as Bumrah could help himself to at least 4 wickets against that inexperienced lower order of RR and SRH.

So, I will get in Bumrah for sure as he gives me some safety, because he will definitely bowl his quota of 4 overs in both games.

Who do you get in between Lewis and Rohit?

Evin Lewis has been in brilliant form this season, striking the ball beautifully, especially in the powerplay, but hasn’t really carried on to make a huge one.

While there is no way to determine as to which of the two would fire today, I will go in with Lewis if MI bat second and Rohit, if MI bat first.

The reason for that is that Rohit coming in at 4 while chasing isn’t a very safe option, as he may either have too much to do or maybe too little.

Now, who do you get in from that RR squad? Ben Stokes is the best option available, with is all round scoring abilities. Get him in, he is due a big one.

For the uncapped player, I would get in Krunal Pandya for this game.

Note: The Fantasy website isn’t functioning as of now and hence I don’t know if I will have the required money to get Pandya in. If you can’t, get in Mayank Markande.

Now, I already have Sanju Samson and Mayank Markande in my side for this game.

Bumrah, Lewis/Rohit and Ben Stokes would be the three players that I get into my side for this game, reasons for which are already mentioned in the IPL Fantasy League section.

Batting Powerplayer: Lewis/Rohit(whoever comes in)

Bowling Powerplayer: Jasprit Bumrah
