Suresh Raina took to Twitter to express his happiness after CSK stormed into the IPL finals.

The Qualifier 1 between CSK and SRH was a cracker of a match. In a game that went down to the last over, it was Faf du Plessis who lead the team to a win.

However, one must not forget that a cameo from Suresh Raina at No 3 helped to bring the Required Run Rate down. In low scoring matches, there are innings like these which shift the momentum of the game.

22 runs are not too may but when they are scored at a Strike Rate of almost 170, they can be handful in T20s. Especially, given that CSK only needed 140 to win, Raina’s contribution was a significant one.

Raina took to Twitter after South African skipper Faf du Plessis slammed a six off the first ball of the last over. The southpaw was pumped up by the win and looked forward to the final.

The final will be played between the winner of the Qualifier 2 and CSK on Sunday at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.

Within a short span, Raina posted again. This time he came up with a heartwarming selfie with Captain Cool MS Dhoni. Veteran off spinner Harbhajan Singh and CSK coach Stephen Flemming can also featured in the picture.

CSK’s chase was an amazing one, so much so that Faf du Plessis who was at the helm took some time to realize it completely. “I just got in the change room now and said, how did we win that game. It felt just a little out of reach. It was great that guys came in and hit a few boundaries at the end,” du Plessis said after the match.
