Can CSK be Knocked out of Top 2 Places : IPL 2019 Playoff Prediction

IPL 2019 Playoff Prediction: The Sportsrush presents before you calculations through which the first two teams can be decided.

The ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League is currently into its last day of the league stage. While Kings XI Punjab vs Chennai Super Kings is inconsequential with respect to the qualifiers, Mumbai Indians hosting Kolkata Knight Riders might see a change in the current Top Four.

With nine wins in 13 matches, defending champions Chennai Super Kings are currently at No. 1 in the points table. With nine wins in 14 matches, Delhi Capitals are at No. 2. With eight wins in 13 matches, Mumbai Indians are at No. 3 in the points table.

Should Chennai defeat Punjab, they will automatically finish the league stage as the Top team (20 points). If the same happens, the winner of MI vs KKR won’t affect the first two positions.

Assuming that Punjab win their last match against Chennai and Mumbai defeat Kolkata in the evening, the visitors will have to make sure that they don’t let Punjab chase the given total in less than 14.4 overs. If KXIP chase the total within 14.4 overs and MI beat KKR, MI will move into Top Two alongside Delhi Capitals.

IPL 2019 Playoff Prediction

For Delhi Capitals, they will be hoping for Knight Riders to defeat Indians for a Mumbai victory will see them enter the Top alongside Chennai Super Kings (if the above mentioned happens).
