Do IPL players get full salaries: The 14th season of the Indian Premier League stands in limbo after a postponement earlier this month.

It was earlier this month that the 14th season of the Indian Premier League had to be postponed after players of several franchises from both the venues namely Delhi and Ahmedabad had tested positive for COVID-19.
Given how severely India is facing ramifications of what is being termed as a second wave of coronavirus, conducting an eight-team tournament on multiple venues was going to be no mean task.
As of now, the tournament continues to be postponed with no update of its resumption. Other than just finding a slot in the international calendar for the remainder of IPL 2021, Board of Control for Cricket in India will also have to ponder on a suitable venue and the availability of overseas players.

Do IPL players get full salaries when IPL season gets postponed or canceled?
IPL, which is the biggest T20 competition around the world for multiple reasons, has suffered such a halt for the first time in its 14-year history. While IPL seasons have been played outside of India or both in India and overseas in the past, this is the first time that a season had to be brought to a halt right in the middle of its league phase.
Considering how an ICC T20 World Cup and the Ashes are to be played later this year, it wouldn’t be a surprise if overseas boards opt to not send their players if IPL 2021 resumes. While such a move will protect players from excessive traveling from bubble to bubble, it will also keep them injury-free for pivotal tournaments for their respective countries.
It is worth mentioning that players especially overseas will get their full salaries even if they miss the remainder of the cash-rich league. According to Fox Sports, all IPL franchises had selected insurance policies to cover player salaries in 2011. The report further claims that the players will get their full salaries irrespective of their availability in this particular case.

Readers must note that IPL players are paid their salaries in three installments. In the general run of things, portions of the payment is made before, during and after the tournament.
