James Rodriguez to Bayern Munich: Bayern Munich are set to make the loan deal permanent for Colombian star James Rodriguez.
James Rodriguez joined Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich last year on a two-year loan deal from Real Madrid. After constant speculations surrounding the Colombian’s return to Real Madrid, it now seems like James is likely to make his stay in Munich permanent.
Spanish media outlet Marca, via Sport Bild, reports that a permanent deal will be completed by the end of the calendar year for James Rodriguez.

The Colombian has been impressive for Bayern Munich ever since he joined the Bavarian club last year. He scored 8 goals in 40 appearances for the German champions, including a goal against Real Madrid in the Champions League semifinals.
In the 2018/19 season, he has bagged two goals despite making only one league start.
Bayern Munich CEO Karl Heinz Rummenigge earlier stated that the transfer of James Rodriguez to the club was a great deal.

“It was a very, very good transfer and I have to thank Carlo Ancelotti once again,” said Rummenigge. The CEO also indicated that the club has ‘gotten a lot of money in cash’ and the ‘financial means to make a big transfer.’
Before the beginning of this season, James Rodriguez confirmed that he is perfectly happy with the club.
