“Please feel free to speak to us”: Georginio Wijnaldum’s Agent Nijman Launches Stunning Plea To Bayern Munich
Georginio Wijnaldum’s Agent Nijman Launches Stunning Plea To Bayern Munich: Wijnaldum’s forthcoming transfer to Barcelona is said to be up in the air
While there’s not much which is ascertained in life, life despite all its uncertainties has a sure shot way of balancing things. Its something which Liverpool’s Georginio Wijnaldum has had to learn the hard way.
Despite Liverpool offering him a contract extension on manifold occasions, Wijnaldum had his eyes set on a move away from the Premier League side. The midfielder failed to be persuaded by Jurgen Klopp publicly courting him as he set his eyes on a move to Barcelona.
Wijnaldum whose deal at Liverpool runs down at the end of the ongoing season was said to be on the cusp of moving to the La Liga side on a free transfer next season. His countryman Ronald Koeman is said to have been the driving force behind the move to see Wijnaldum spurn interest from Inter Milan as well.
However, as the season is nearing the culminating stages, talk of Wijnaldum moving to Barcelona has vanished up in the smoke. The La Liga side is said to have gotten cold feet at the transfer to leave Wijnaldum in a quandary.
Nijman Offers Wijnaldum To Bayern Munich
Its seen his agent, Nijman adopt desperate measures in a bid to scour for a new club for his client. In an unprecedented move, Nijman made a public appeal to Bayern Munich to come and avail Wijnaldum’s services.
Speaking to Sport1, Nijman went onto say, “Wijnaldum is a free transfer and keeps all options open,” said Nijman Bayern is a great club. If you are interested in him, please feel free to speak to us.”
The recent comments allude towards the peril in which Wijnaldum finds himself. Out of contract at Liverpool in the next couple of months and with no real suitor in sight, Wijnaldum could find himself bereft of a club ahead of the 2021-22 season.
