Jean Todt gives insight into his relationship with Michael Schumacher
Michael Schumacher and Jean Todt shared a wonderful relationship with each other when Todt was Schumacher’s boss at Ferrari.
Todt spoke about his relationship with Schumacher whilst accepting the lifetime achievement award from AutoBild.
Todt spoke highly of Schumacher, confirming that he had photos of him in the office and would always hold his time with Schumacher very close to his heart.
“Pictures of him hang everywhere in my offices and apartments.” Todt said.
“The time with Michael will always be remembered as the best of my life.

“We love each other because we wrote an incredible story together.
“And because we always stuck together in difficult times.” he added.
Todt is one of the very few individuals who visit Schumacher and are allowed to meet the 7 time world champion in his luxury home in Switzerland.
Schumacher’s abode in Geneva overlooks the lake, with the mountains visible in the background.
Schumacher’s relatives told Paris Match that Schumacher sometimes cries when sitting out in the open overlooking the lake.
“When you put him in his wheelchair facing the beautiful panorama of the mountains overlooking the lake, Michael sometimes cries.” the relative said.
Updates about Schumacher’s life post that terrible ski accident have been scarce as the family wants privacy in this tough phase.
Fans keep waiting for updates and even when the slightest of them arrive, they feel a sense of jubilation, as their hero lives onto fight another day.
Todt also ended up revealing that he watched the Brazilian GP with Schumacher in Switzerland.

“I’m actually always cautious when I say something.
“But it’s true that I watched the Brazil GP in Switzerland with Michael,” he said.
