Jeff hardy: WWE releases statement on the The Charismatic Enigma’s arrest for Public Intoxication and Impairment at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina early Saturday morning.
Jeff hardy was arrested for Public Intoxication on Saturday morning. Myrtle Beach Online reported that police were called to the Ocean Enclave by Hilton Grand Vacations hotel for a report of an intoxicated man at approximately 11:15 a.m.
Hardy, 41, was arrested without incident and booked into the Myrtle Beach jail where he also posed for mugshots. However, he was released on the same day for less than $200 bond.
The WWE has reacted the news by issuing a statement that shoulders the entire responsibility of the incident on to Jeff’s shoulders. The statement read:
“Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions.”
This is the shorter version of the statement WWE last produced when Jeff was arrested last year for DUI. He was arrested in March last year for drunkenly crashing his car in North Carolina while three times over the legal limit. The statement released then was:
“Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials.”
At some point the WWE will have to share responsibility with the charismatic enigma, lest the next news be a much more tragic one.
Grand Slam Hardy
Jeff Hardy is currently out with a knee injury. One which could see him on the shelf up to as late as February next year. He underwent a surgery and is currently recovering. Before his injury, Jeff had just won the SmackDown tag team championships with his brother. However, they ended up relinquishing the title just a week later.
Jeff is a 6-time world champion in the WWE. He is also a Grand slam champion in the WWE under both their old and new format.
