Jeff Hardy eye surgery

In the 2000s, Jeff Hardy was regarded as one of the best high-flyers in the wrestling industry. The Charismatic Enigma was famous for pulling off high-risk moves. Hardy is currently signed to AEW but is suspended due to his DUI case in July 2022. A recent picture of Jeff Hardy is making rounds on the internet. The daredevil Hardy appears to be unrecognizable.

Despite carving out a legendary career in wrestling, Jeff Hardy has always hit the headlines for the wrong reasons in the past. Jeff Hardy’s arrest was due to DUI, driving while his license was rescinded, and a third offense within 10 years. In addition, AEW closed its doors on Jeff. The 45-year-old star’s status of in-ring return remains in limbo.

The North Carolina native was spotted at the airport by a fan. While posing for a picture, Hardy made his signature gun sign with his fingers. While Jeff Hardy looked different due to his grey hair and grey beard, something seemed off about his right eye.

Turns out that Jeff Hardy recently had eye surgery. Due to the surgery, the white of his right eye appears to be darkened. But make no mistake, Jeff Hardy is still in shape and looks like he still works out on a regular basis.

His brother Matt Hardy recently spoke about the efforts Jeff is making to get clean and reinvent himself. It’s worth noting that Hardy was originally facing 5 years in jail, but his plea to nolo contendere had helped him avoid the additional jail time. Nolo contendere is when the accused does not plead guilty but accepts conviction.

Jeff Hardy was suspended from AEW without pay

Let’s call a spade a spade, wrestling promoters do not trust Jeff Hardy due to his erratic behavior. Even though Hardy is regarded as a pioneer of pro wrestling, his personal demons have gotten the best of him in the past. Following his arrest in 2022, Tony Khan took to Twitter to reveal that Jeff Hardy was written off AEW TV without pay.

Khan also added that AEW would help Hardy get the treatment he needs against substance abuse and that he would only be brought back once he maintains his sobriety.
