Jesse Lingard gives Wimbledon fans £600

Jesse Lingard gives Wimbledon fans £600: The player was a guest on Soccer AM after his exploits at the Emirates Stadium in the FA Cup.

Jesse Lingard has been doing all things right at the moment.

The player made a major role in Manchester United’s 3-1 victory over Arsenal in the FA Cup. He scored the second goal of the game and celebrated with the famous ‘moonwalk’ in front of the Arsenal fans.

He made an appearance in Soccer AM after the game, where he had a chance to earn some cash for the Wimbledon fans.

All he had to do was score a penalty. However, this time, Jesse Lingard failed to convert the spot-kick. While Wimbledon fans were in shock and accepted their loss, Lingard had other plans for them.

The Manchester United footballer reimbursed each fan with £100 – £600 in total, showing his class off the pitch. The fans took to Twitter to thank Lingard for the classy gesture.

In the FA Cup tie against Arsenal, Jesse Lingard displayed his class as he scored with a slick assist from Romelu Lukaku.

While going for his celebration, he cheekily dodged past Romelu Lukaku, who opened his arms thinking Lingard would come to hug him.

The English footballer went towards the stands and celebrated with Michael Jackson’s ‘moonwalk.’

He earlier performed the Milly Rock move at the Emirates in the Premier League win against Arsenal in 2017.

Lingard didn’t end here, though. He took to Instagram to celebrate the win against Arsenal, posting a picture of him performing the moonwalk. However, he tagged the location as ‘Dancefloor.’

What next?

In his appearance in Soccer AM, Jesse Lingard also commented on Manchester United’s chances against Liverpool in the league game next month.

The 26-year-old attacker, however, was rather blunt in his answer, stating that his side would ‘win.’
