The premier league was suspended earlier this month until the 3rd of April. The play set to resume on the 4th. However, following a meeting between all 20 clubs, the suspension has now been extended until the 30th of April.
While the clubs are keen on completing the season, it is looking unlikelier that football will resume anytime soon. However, it is certainly endearing to see the footballing community step up and contribute during one of the worst times to befall humanity.
