Jose Mourinho helps deliver essential goods to the elderly amidst coronavirus crisis that has engulfed several countries around the world.

The Coronavirus pandemic has become an international concern with several countries enforcing a lockdown on its citizens. Sporting events around the world have been suspended amidst the crisis. However, that is, but a speck of the impact of the disease on the society.

Several sportsmen and women including footballers have gone out of their way to ensure they do their part to give back to the society.

Many have spoken on the pandemic in a bid to educate the society and understand the importance of self-isolation. A few others have contributed to charity in a bid to help the needy and even support those looking for a cure.

A certain ‘special one’, on the other hand, is helping the elderly receive essential goods.

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho was seen working with charity AgeUK to help deliver essential goods to the elderly.  The tweet posted by journalist Michael Bridge tweeted the news out with pictures of the Portuguese in action, captioned:

“My place of birth, Enfield had an extra helper for @age_uk today. Delivering essential goods to the elderly. Nice one, Jose. #THFC.”

The premier league was suspended earlier this month until the 3rd of April. The play set to resume on the 4th. However, following a meeting between all 20 clubs, the suspension has now been extended until the 30th of April.

While the clubs are keen on completing the season, it is looking unlikelier that football will resume anytime soon. However, it is certainly endearing to see the footballing community step up and contribute during one of the worst times to befall humanity.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
