Jurgen Klopp claims Liverpool jersey will suit on Bundesliga star

Jurgen Klopp asserts that Liverpool jersey will suit Bundesliga star Jadon Sancho; also confessed that his move to the Anfield is unlikely.

The English prodigy Jadon Sancho has been on the books of several top clubs in England, as the 20-year-old player’s performances have aroused the interests of these clubs.

Among these clubs, Liverpool has also enquired about Sancho and in the latest update, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp claimed that the club jersey will surely suit on him.

However, at the same time, Klopp has also confessed that his move to the Anfield seems to be unlikely. The Merseyside club has maintained that it will not spend big this summer and Klopp probably reflected that decision.

Speaking at a live event with German outlet Bild, he said: “A red jersey would look very good on Jadon Sancho. But I don’t think such a transfer will take place this summer.”

“He is a very interesting player. If he moved to Liverpool, I would be the most surprised of all.” he further said. Sancho has been on a brilliant run this season.

The English International amassed 20 goals and 20 assists in 44 games across all competitions for Borussia Dortmund, which makes him a lucrative prospect for any team.

Yet, a move to Liverpool is not beneficial for him too, as he will most probably become a backup to Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, who occupy the positions where Sancho can play.

As of now, Manchester United is leading the race of landing Sancho this season, but the money demanded by Borussia Dortmund is quite expensive for every club especially amidst the current economic situation during the pandemic.

And Die Borrussen is not ready to bargain the price of the player, and if their demands are not fulfilled, they will happily keep Sancho for another season.
