Jurgen Klopp reaction to Jordan Henderson after the club’s captain refused his handshake has earned praise for the manager.
Manchester United relished a hard-earned draw against Liverpool in the Premier League last night.
Jurgen Klopp’s side was criticised for being laid back and slow on attack, as Manchester United had more close chances than the visitors.
The hosts lost their three first-team starters – Ander Herrera, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard to muscle injuries, which gave Liverpool an upper edge in the second half.
However, Liverpool failed to capitalize on the opportunity as a makeshift United side salvaged a draw against the league leaders.
“I don’t know exactly; it is Bobby, so it will be quicker than with all the others but first we have to know what it is exactly. It is something to do with the ankle.”

– Milner should NEVER play RB again
– Sturridge shouldn’t play for the club again
– van Dijk is easily our best player
– Timo Werner is a MUST in the summer
– Klopp didn’t show enough balls
– Worst game of the season

Even when Liverpool fans were fairly annoyed with the side’s performance, there came a moment in the game where they applauded Jurgen Klopp for his gesture towards Jordan Henderson.
Klopp took the club’s captain off late in the second half. Henderson, while not showing his frustration, refused to shake Klopp’s hands as he applauded the Liverpool supporters.
However, Klopp approached the midfielder and seemingly confronts him. Henderson reacted positively to Klopp’s reaction as he shook his hands.
Here’s the video:
Great example of how much Jurgen Klopp cares about team culture. Club captain walks by him without shaking his hand when subbed
Easy thing to do-allow him sit down+fine him later. He confronts him straight away so that it isn’t seen as “acceptable”
Brillant by Klopp

Liverpool, however, failed to secure more than a point at Old Trafford. The side climbed to the top of the league and lead Manchester City by a single point.
Manchester United, meanwhile, have dropped to the fifth position as Arsenal secured a 2-0 win over Southampton.
If you think any of the following:
– Klopp should be sacked
– We’ve already bottled the league
– Everything is doom and gloom for LFC
– You hate any of our playersPlease let me know so I can unfollow you 👍

If it wasn’t for Jurgen Klopp we’d be sitting 7th with a lost top 4 battle and having played another season to forget.
Respect him. You’re in a position to abuse him because he got you there.

Jurgen Klopp’s men will return to action at the Anfield as the league leaders aim to regain momentum with the game against Watford. Manchester United travel to the Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace.
