Jordan Henderson's highlights video from 2019/20 season shows his phenomenal rise

Jordan Henderson’s highlights video from 2019/20 shows how good Liverpool’s captain has been this season and his role at the club.

Liverpool’s whole squad has been performing at just another level and among all of them Jordan Henderson has massively stood out to show how crucial the club captain is to Jurgen Klopp.

In a video released, it can be seen that Henderson has been exceptional this season, while Liverpool is heading towards an undefeated campaign in the Premier League.

A video of Henderson’s highlights has been compiled, including his two goals and three assists, all the way up until his most recent header against Wolves.

The passes made in the video are quite good and in the 2minute-long sequence, there is no sideways passing and lacklustre movement his critics have slammed him for in the past.

Liverpool’s captain has risen to prominence under Jurgen Klopp, when Henderson was signed in 2011 by Liverpool as club’s living legend Steven Gerrard’s successor, many were underwhelmed by it.

But Henderson proved his critics wrong and went onto be a true leader at the Merseyside club and under his tenure, the club also won the Champions League after 14 years.

Moreover, now Liverpool is about to achieve the league title, which they have failed to do in the last 30 years. Henderson may not be regarded as one of the creative midfielders in the world but his incredible work-rate makes him look exceptional.

With Liverpool’s phenomenal rise, Henderson has surely sealed his place as Liverpool’s one of the greatest legends and he still has a lot of years left to give Liverpool.

Moreover, Klopp also highly rates Henderson and would probably keep him at a key role until the German manager leaves the club.
